In the last 24 hours, the coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc in the sports world. La Liga has been suspended for the next two weeks as the Real Madrid first team has had to go into quarantine, the NBA has suspended its season for an indefinite period, and numerous wrestling promotions like OTT and New Japan Pro-Wrestling have been forced to cancel shows.
All Elite Wrestling announced on March 10 that all events will proceed as scheduled, but the virus could still have an impact on the young promotion's programming. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Tony Khan told all talent after the show that they were "under no pressure" to attend upcoming episodes of Dynamite if they were ill or were stressed about travelling.
Meltzer said: "Tony Khan tonight told all talent and the staff that everyone is under no pressure to work next week’s show or shows as long as this thing is going on. He said that anyone who feels any illness or is stressed about travel that its fine to stay home. He said that nobody will be judged by the decision that they make and nobody will lose their spot or their push over it."
