Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s biggest show of the year is fast approaching, with the Battle of Los Angeles set for January 29 and January 30 2022. And to gear up for the two-night tournament, PWG are wasting no time in announcing competitors for the contest, announcing that AEW’s Daniel Garcia is the sixth name for the BOLA.

One of the most exciting young technically minded grapplers in the industry, Garcia has had a breakout 2021, signing for AEW in Autumn, and wrestling for the likes of NJPW, GCW, and WWE NXT amongst others in 2021 alone.

BOLA 2022 will be the 23 year-old ‘Red Death’s second Pro Wrestling Guerrilla appearance, after making his debut at PWG It’s A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock ’n’ Roll) on November 21, losing to the newly crowned ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham by referee’s decision.

Garcia joins Alex Shelley, JONAH, Lio Rush, Kevin Blackwood, and Black Taurus in the 2022 Battle of Los Angeles, with PWG still to announce a host of competitor’s for indie wrestling’s most high profile tournament.
