AEW’s Adam Cole Will 'Slap The Taste' Out Of MJF's Mouth If He Mentions Britt Baker Again

MJF’s mouth has gained him very few friends in AEW, and it seems as though he may have made an enemy out of Adam Cole.

After MJF referenced Adam Cole’s girlfriend AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker during a recent promo-battle with CM Punk, it seems to have left a bitter taste in Cole’s mouth, with Cole threatening harm on MJF if he ever mentions Baker again.

"Funny enough, I actually didn't hear it until afterward, I was doing something else right before and I had missed it. All I'm going to say is… everyone loves my girlfriend. What's not to love? She's the AEW Women's World Champion, she's one of the hottest wrestlers in the world, and people can't help but talk about her. I can proudly say that I'm the one who stands by her side. She's killing it. I will say this, if MJF ever brings her up again, I'm going to slap the taste out of his mouth. Not bothered by it, but if he does, I'm gonna hit him in the face. Not bothered at all. Proud of her. I'm gonna knock him out," an in-character Cole said during an appearance on Rasslin with Brandon Walker.

Cole did reserve praise for MJF’s abilities as a performer though:

"I have closely followed MJF pretty much his entire career. I knew him when he was younger and first getting started. Watching him develop into the talent he's become at the age that he is, is miraculous to me. If I was as good as he is at 25 years old, that would be unbelievable. He has done such a fantastic job in the ring, I don't think he gets enough credit for how good he is in the ring, on the microphone, obviously, everyone knows how good he is on the microphone. The thing that impresses me the most is his presence and confidence when he's out there. You can't teach that. From the way that he walks, dresses, delivers the stuff he says, he's a fantastic performer,"
