With the Wednesday Night Wars officially over, the unopposed AEW Dynamite scored the second highest viewership in the history of its program.

Per Showbuzz Daily, AEW's Wednesday night airing scored 1,219,000 viewers. In the program's 81-episode history, that sits second all time, behind only the 1,409,000 viewers achieved by the series premiere on October 2, 2019.

It's only the fifth Dynamite to break 1,000,000 viewers. The second and third episodes in 2019 did 1,140,000 and 1,014,000 respectively, while the unopposed September 9, 2020 episode did 1,016,000 viewers.

Dynamite ranked second for the night on cable in 18-49 (behind MTV's The Challenge) with a .44 demo rating, tied for fifth largest in show history.

Dynamite ranked number one in males 18-49 with a .55 demo. They also did a .26 rating in people 18-34, tied for third for the night.

By comparison, the first post-War edition of NXT on Tuesday night managed 805,000 viewers, a .22 rating in 18-49 (eighth on cable), a .26 rating in men 18-49 (sixth on cable), and a .10 in 18-34 (tied for 26th on cable).
