All Elite Wrestling held the go-home edition of Dynamite before All Out on Wednesday, August 30 in Chicago, Illinois and the show didn't take place without any issues.

Tony Khan announced ahead of the show that he had changed some of the plans for Dynamite due to minor illnesses and Hurricane Idalia-related travel issues.

"Due to minor illnesses to big talent traveling this week, + Hurricane Idalia affecting flights, I've changed some plans for #AEWDynamite. TONIGHT! Coming off All In, @AEW's greatest night + the most tickets sold for any wrestling show ever, expect a great Dynamite TONIGHT on TBS!" Khan tweeted.

Matches Khan hastily added to AEW Dynamite included Eddie Kingston vs. Wheeler Yuta for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship, Jon Moxley vs. Komander, and Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, & Britt Baker vs. Nyla Rose, Emi Sakura, & Marina Shafir. Other segments on the show saw Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara reform their tag team and Orange Cassidy successfully defend the AEW International Title against Penta El Zero Miedo. Cassidy will put the belt on the line next at All Out against Jon Moxley.
