Absent AEW Star Training For In-Ring Return

An absent All Elite Wrestling talent is currently training for an in-ring return.

Taking to X (FKA Twitter), Tay Melo revealed she has been back in the ring preparing for her AEW comeback.

"So happy to be able to be in the ring again. With a lot of patience I'll get ready to be back, it's a whole new body & I still feel so week inside.. I got frustrated a couple times, had to hold my tears and keep going. My body was my baby's home for 40 weeks and now I'll get stronger not just for me but for her too. It's a long way to go but I'm closer than yesterday," Melo tweeted.

Tay Melo has been absent from AEW TV for almost a year and she gave birth to her and Sammy Guevara's daughter in November 2023. The two AEW talents have been married since August 2022, having started dating in November 2021.

There is no word on when Tay Melo will return to AEW TV. Sammy Guevara is also absent from All Elite Wrestling's programming, having been suspended in February after hitting Jeff Hardy with a GTH while Jeff was in concussion protocol. There was plenty of sympathy within the promotion for Guevara and the incident was largely considered a miscommunication.

Guevara's suspension has since been lifted, although he is yet to resurface on TV.
